re-di-tūs : restoration
At Reditus, spirituality is rooted in four fundamental guiding principles, aimed at encountering the restoring power of God.
We are Christocentric
We are rooted in, and guided by, the person, life, and teachings of Jesus Christ as they are made known in the scriptures. The fundamental values of love, mercy, reconciliation, peace, and justice, are central.
We go on a Spiritual Pilgrimage
Our process is a journey inward, to the deep core of the heart, where the Spirit dwells and where we long to be in union with God. This path can be mysterious and thus require a measure of trust.
We believe Self-knowledge is Key
The key to knowledge of God is knowledge and keen awareness of self, and we strive to use the many means available to get to know ourselves deeply, in order to see ourselves as God sees us.
We take a Holistic Approach
We are made up of body, mind, and heart—the spiritual life cannot be viewed as a separate reality, but rather is integrated in all aspects of life—physical, mental, emotional, and psycho-social.
